2022 has been a tumultuous year that brought the world quite some challenges. As with many other industries, the horticultural sector has to deal with the energy crisis and overall inflation disrupting the market. Though we recognise these immediate challenges and the ways they can affect us all, we keep believing in a green future built by our industry.

The Sustainable Substrate Agreement that was signed in the Netherlands last November is a great step forward towards this.

Building a future-proof sector

At Kekkilä-BVB we strongly believe in building a green and flourishing future together with our customers, partners, and of course municipalities. We aim to work on many more collaborations, innovations and research projects supporting this vision during 2023.

Long-term customers of our BVB Substrates brand must have noticed the changes that have occurred within our company as well. Over the past years, we’ve shifted from a focus on only delivering high-quality products to our customers, to building that green future together through our products and collaborations.

We’ll continue to research new solutions with customers, and share knowledge with our market through events like our BVB Colleges, webinars and cooperations and hope to meet many of you to exchange ideas.
